Maybe I'm different from other writers, but I actually enjoy editing. I like working with others to improve my stories, sharpen dialogue and punch up the pacing.  "The Visitor" has been through the first round of edits and the initial Beta read...but why is it not called an Alpha read I wonder? Anyhow, I have incorporated the notes from my Beta readers and am now going through a second editing phase, which I expect to last a few more weeks. I had hoped to be further along, but we took time to visit family and friends and enjoy our annual Mardi Gras ball in Texas, and I had to take some time away from "the Visitor" to market "Imperfect Utopia." We're home now in Mexico and I am back in the saddle. I'm projecting a publication date of June 2026 for "The Visitor."  Personally, I love this story more than I loved "Imperfect Utopia," and I can't wait to share it with you.
