About Carroll Cobb
Carroll has been an industrial psychologist, a successful trial lawyer, and an entrepreneur, but since retiring and moving to Mexico, she has been gifted with the time and space to write the fictional stories that have percolated in the backroads of her mind for years. Inspired by Jean Auel, James Michner, Robert Jordon, Robert Heinlein, Diana Gabaldon and other writers of long tales, Carroll’s Aggran Chronicles use interplanetary settings and historical touchpoints to dramatize the legal and ethical fallout of unequal technological contact through character-driven mysteries and cultural upheaval. She leverages her background in psychology and law to add depth and complexity to the worlds she creates and the characters whose stories she tells.
Carroll has been a successful non-fiction writer publishing “Advice From The Lemonade Stand, 2nd Edition” in 2012, and many articles, manuals, and marketing materials for others. "Imperfect Utopia" is her first full length fictional novel and will soon be followed by "The Visitor" which is the second in a planned five book series.
Carroll lives near Lake Chapala, Mexico with her wife, Jettie Pugh and their two dogs, Izzy and Molly.
